Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of frontierrnd.com and the software tools Frontier Research and Development ("Frontier R&D", "we") publishes, including tools that connect to accounts you hold with other services such as LinkedIn or X. By using the site or a tool, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains what information we handle.

Using the Tools

You may use our tools for your own lawful purposes. You are responsible for the content you create, publish, or send through them, and for keeping your own devices and accounts secure. Do not use the tools to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, to send spam, or to do anything a connected service's own rules forbid.

Connected Accounts

When you connect a third-party account, you do so under that service's terms as well as ours. The tool acts only on actions you trigger, such as publishing a post you wrote or scheduling one for later. You are the author and publisher of anything posted to your accounts through our tools, and you are responsible for it. You can disconnect an account at any time inside the tool and revoke access from the service's settings.

AI-Assisted Drafting

Some tools draft or edit text with an AI model provider you configure. Drafts are suggestions. Review anything before you publish it: we do not guarantee that generated text is accurate, original, or suitable for your purpose.

Your Content

You own what you write. Local-first tools keep your content on your own device; we claim no rights in it. Where a tool sends text to an AI provider at your request, that transfer happens under the provider's terms.

Hosted Products

Our hosted products, such as Aquilla, have their own terms presented inside the product. Where those terms differ from this page, the product's terms govern that product.

No Warranty

The site and tools are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue a tool at any time. Some of our tools are open source; their licence sets the terms for the code itself.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, Frontier R&D is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or tools, including lost posts, lost data, or actions a connected service takes against your account. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the tool in the twelve months before the claim, which for free tools is nothing.

Changes

If these terms change, we will update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use the site or tools after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and Canada.
